Flight in One Act

• 29.11.16.

The joint work of musician and composer Reinis Sējāns and Latvian National Ballet leading soloist and choreographer Elza Leimane, “Crow. Flight in One Act,” will be presented at Dailes Theatre with symphonic scale. It is a story about a human being - not about a crow - about the inner struggle of a person, about the ugly within the beautiful and the beautiful within the ugly, the approach to danger and rediscovering oneself. The crow as a symbol, as an extraordinarily intellectually developed and beautiful bird, helps tell this story so that everyone can see themselves in it.

“Embodiment of the crow, bringing it to life in movement and exploring the possibilities this image offers, gives me great creative joy and true inspiration,” says dancer and choreographer Elza Leimane.
