Billionaire Claire Zachanassian arrives in the small and poor town of Güllen. She was born and raised here, she met her first love here, so of course the lady, known for her generosity and charitable activities, will not refuse to invest in the revival and prosperity of her hometown. That is what the people of Güllen think, and they are placing great hopes on Alfred Ill, who is that same young Claire's beloved, as an intermediary. And Claire... Claire is not against it at all: she offers the people of Güllen a billion - half for the town, half for the residents. However, she has one condition...

Indra Roga's production is a funny tragedy about the inevitability of revenge, paying for the choices one has made, the power that anonymity grants to society, and also about the strangest forms of love.
