Vestards Šimkus | Franz Liszt's Romantic Piano Music

We invite you to pianist Vestards Šimkus’s solo concert “Franz Liszt’s Romantic Piano Music”!

The pianist has dedicated this concert program especially to Franz Liszt, the most legendary composer and pianist of the 19th century, whose virtuosic and romantic music once created in audiences an almost superhuman and transcendent experience. It was precisely through Liszt’s music and the stories of his life that Vestards Šimkus fell in love with the piano, classical music, and the creative process of composing at the age of eight, deciding to devote his entire life to music.

In this solo concert, the pianist will also tell the audience the most important things about this music, to help everyone experience the astonishing magic of Liszt’s music.
