A documentary hallucination in one act

Reinis Boters found a dusty audio cassette in the attic of his childhood home, which triggered an acute impostor syndrome. On it, as a little boy, he had recorded homemade radio shows with interviews with family members, musical breaks, advertisements for self-invented devices, deep thoughts, etc. The cassette prompted him to search within himself for the same, but now lost, artistic freedom. Freedom that existed before shame, before judging eyes, before anxiety about proper technique and high artistic value.

“Impostor” will be a performance about childhood memories, inherited hallucinations, ingrained shame, and an absurd ego trip.

The performance is intended for audiences aged 16 and over

Accessibility:

For spectators with mobility impairments, the venue is accessible by wheelchair and adapted restroom facilities are available. The nearest accessible parking space is located near the Riga Latvian Society House.

For spectators with hearing impairments, induction loops are available and can be obtained during ticket inspection.
