COMEDY “THE CANDIDATE”

One evening I was watching a debate in which, for the most part, the “old foxes” did nothing but once again promise the moon... Their arrogant attitude, inability to cooperate and communicate with one another respectfully made me so angry that I was already ready to throw a slipper at the TV screen. But right at that moment an IDEA flashed through my mind - what if I pretended that I was also taking part in the autumn elections?

What would my party be called? What would its slogan be, what logo, and what would the loudest promises be, which in reality could not be fulfilled, but I would present them to the people so convincingly that I myself would believe I could make them happen!

I became so absorbed in this game of imagination that, although I had planned to take a little break from the stage, I told myself: LET IT HAPPEN, LET'S SEE WHAT COMES OF IT!

And so I started writing my new stand-up show, “The Candidate.”
