Additional concert for the album presentation of “Visas pasaules jūtas”
“Kautkaili” releases the song “Savā vaļā” and invites you to the album presentation concert on October 30.
The band “Kautkaili” is releasing a new song and music video, “Savā vaļā” - the final single from their upcoming second studio album, “Visas pasaules jūtas”, due out in October. The band will celebrate the album release on October 30 with a special presentation concert at the Pavilion of the LCA National Film School.
“During the making of the album, life brought us a wide range of experiences and with them, all the feelings of the world. We have captured them in ten songs, and “Savā vaļā” is one of those ten stories. The song is about the moment when you have to accept that not everything stays the way it was, yet it is not a sad song - rather, it is about accepting reality, seen from a light, bright, and slightly ironic perspective. With the vitality of youth, which makes it possible to let go of what has been experienced and move on,” the band says about the song.
The mood of the song is enhanced by a sunny music video created by director and cinematographer Mārtiņš Kivlinieks and his team.
On October 30, at the Pavilion of the LCA National Film School, “Visas pasaules jūtas” will be heard live in full for the first time, from the first song to the last, for a limited number of listeners. Several songs from the album will be performed for the first time at this event, and the concert will not be repeated in this format.
“This album is very special to us, so we wanted to create one special evening for its release. Not just play a concert, but experience the entire album together with our listeners for the first time - in the order and as a whole in which we created it,” says “Kautkaili”.
The event is intentionally designed to be small and intimate, so only a very limited number of tickets will be available.
“Kautkaili” consists of Kristīne Pāže, Didzis Bardo, and Krists Krūskops. The band’s music blends the nostalgia of Latvian alternative pop from the 1990s with a contemporary indie and electronic sound. After the debut album “Personas kods”, the band went on the electro-acoustic concert tour “Kur klusums zied”, played sold-out concerts, and earlier this year took second place in the Latvian Television song contest “Supernova”.
