Daria Fechina's apartment concert

12+Performance in Russian.

A Latvian-language content overview will be available.

The apartment concert is built around Vladimir Vysotsky's songs, which seem to connect, complement, and illuminate fragments of Marina Vlady's memories of meetings, letters and waiting, of joys and worries, and of trying to hold on to a man who lived life to the fullest.

The songs familiar to many will sound different, without the usual hoarseness and tense spring-like energy, softer, gentler, more fragile...

This is not a documentary performance about Vladimir Vysotsky, but memories of him that have taken on a woman's voice. It is an attempt to create a shared space of memory where music and words intertwine and personal history becomes universal without losing its uniqueness. This is not a story about the past, but about how love continues to звучe through time without a single false note.
