Exhibition "City Behind the Window"

At the Cēsis Museum New Castle, the exhibition “City Behind the Window” is on view from July 18.

Buildings and houses,

castle and churches,

streets, roads and paths,

stadiums, courtyards and squares,

parks, forests and meadows,

cemeteries,

streams, brooks and lake

• •the places that make up our city, Cēsis.

Here beats the life that we create every day, we city dwellers.

Here is our home, shaped over decades and centuries, cared for, sometimes irreparably damaged, yet still continually developed by new generations of people from Cēsis.

Our Cēsis is a small city with an ancient, surprising history and humanity filled with warmth and sincerity, which binds the past to the present and allows us to look to the future with confidence.

The exhibition “City Behind the Window” is a story about ourselves, about the city’s breath and its unique character. Come, take a closer look, and experience Cēsis from a new perspective!

Ticket prices: EUR 3 for adults, EUR 2 for school students, students, and pensioners.

The exhibition will be on view until February 14, 2027.
