Dzidra Vaitkūne’s Painting Exhibition “Color Conversations”

Dzidra Vaitkūne graduated from the Textile Department of the Liepāja Secondary School of Applied Arts. She worked at the applied arts workshop “Māksla,” and later led a weaving studio in Ērgļi.

In 2022, she joined the art studio “Umbra,” where she resumed developing her painting skills. A significant place in the artist’s work is taken by the diversity of colors and shades, bold experiments, and various techniques. Her paintings combine harmonious, contrasting, and expressive compositions, revealing an individual and vividly saturated vision of the world.

The exhibition opening will be accompanied by performances by children. The exhibition is on view until November 26.
