TLMS "Kamene" Exhibition "Autumn in Patterns"

From 11 September to 13 November, the works of the members of TLMS "Kamene" at KTMC "Mazā ģilde" will be on view in the windows of the building at 3 Amatu Street in the exhibition "Autumn in Patterns".

When autumn winds begin to rewrite the landscape of nature, painting leaves and the earth in warm, rich tones, these stories are transformed in the hands of artists and artisans into threads of fabric. The textile art exhibition "Autumn in Patterns" invites visitors to experience this visual and tactile metamorphosis.

On display are blankets, tablecloths, towels, decorative pillowcases, and belts. All the works have been created in traditional weaving techniques, preserving knowledge passed down through generations, while at the same time breathing in the rhythm of today. The exhibition shows that ancient ornaments are not frozen in history. They change with us, becoming the foundation of contemporary home comfort and identity.

Each work is a unique dialogue of color and texture, from delicate, austere towel patterns to substantial, warm blankets. The exhibition "Autumn in Patterns" offers a refuge from the chill of autumn and inspiration from the patience and creative flight of master craftsmen.

The exhibition is organized by KTMC "Mazā ģilde" with the support of the Riga city municipality.
