October 4 - "Autumn Bird Days" in the Lubāns Wetland
Relaxation
The Lubāns Wetland Information Center invites nature lovers to join a birdwatching hike around the Zvejsola and Ļodāni ponds, as well as to take part in a creative workshop where we will weave bird feeders from willow rods.
PROGRAM:
11:00 Birdwatching hike, led by ornithologist Elīna Gulbe, who translated the book "Bird Guide".
Meeting point at the Zvejsola ponds (56.698649, 26.892816). Approximate hike length: 7 km. It is recommended to bring binoculars and clothing appropriate for the weather.
13:00 Lunch soup at the Lubāns Wetland Information Center.
Afterwards, the creative workshop "Woven Bird Feeder," led by willow weaver Inese Zvejniece.
