Andrejs Osokins | In the Spirit of the National Holidays | cultural space AKUSTIKA, Valmiera

On November 14, we invite you to enjoy a special gift from Andrejs Osokins for the Latvian National Holidays!

This concert will be a resonant gift for the national holidays, introducing listeners to the legacy of great Latvian composers - Pēteris Vasks, Emīls Dārziņš, Jāzeps Vītols, Jānis Mediņš, and Lūcija Garūta - as well as unveiling lesser-known gems from the piano music of contemporary composers Kārlis Lācis, Georgs Pelēcis, and others.

The works of Latvian composers will be organically complemented in the concert by the noble and spiritual music of the German classics Johann Sebastian Bach and Johannes Brahms.
