A Party with Italian Vibes with the Duo UKUS IN FABULA

November is one of the darkest months of the year. If you want a little more sunshine, an unexpected musical surprise, and to forget for a couple of hours that it is autumn outside, join us on November 20 at Pegaza Viesistaba for a party with Italian vibes!

That evening we will be visited by UKUS IN FABULA, a duet of professional Italian musicians who present the ukulele in a completely different light, turning it into a full-fledged concert instrument capable of creating both a delicate and intimate acoustic sound and a rhythm-filled, energetic musical performance.

UKUS IN FABULA consists of musicians Dario Bellaveglia and Daniele Vacca, professional performers, composers, arrangers, and teachers with many years of experience. They have performed in Italy and at international festivals in Australia, Israel, Lithuania, Poland, the Czech Republic, Scotland, Germany, Finland, and Austria, and have also taken part in Italian television shows.

The duo's sound is shaped by soprano, tenor, and bass ukuleles, voice, rhythm, and various playing techniques. The professional experience of both musicians allows them to combine fingerstyle, folk, blues, rock, and other genre influences in one program.

This will not be a stiff music evening. A UKUS IN FABULA concert is about joy, humor, energy, and being together. Alongside original music, the repertoire includes rock and reggae, dance hits from the 70s and 80s, world pop classics, and of course beloved Italian, Roman, and Neapolitan songs. Familiar melodies are revealed in witty, surprising arrangements and unexpected musical combinations.

Feel the sun of Italy in an atmosphere of professional musical mastery and a light party mood. See you on November 20 at Pegaza Viesistaba!
