In December, singer Dainis Skutelis will mark his 40th anniversary with a grand concert series.

Forty years is a story of music, the stage, dreams, and experience. In this two-part anniversary concert, audiences will have the chance to experience a musical journey through Dainis Skutelis’s creative work, from opera arias and classical music to pop, rock, and schlager. The concert program will reveal the singer’s wide musical range and highlight the different facets that have shaped his stage personality.

The musical accompaniment will be provided by Latvia’s finest instrumentalists in classical and popular music. The concert will also be given a special atmosphere by Dainis Skutelis’s fellow performers and friends, who will join the jubilarian on stage. Among the guests will also be the winners of this season’s TV3 show Choir Wars, the Preiļi Purple Choir, with whom Dainis Skutelis won the show this year.
