Don Juan

The French classic’s turn to the human archetype created in neighboring Spain - the individual consumed by pleasure, passion, and skepticism, or Don Juan - allows today’s audience to assess the world’s inevitable path toward the colorful chaos in which we all live. Some savor the acceleration of time and eternal motion, others fear where the world is rolling and taking us with it.

The return of the outstanding Bulgarian director to Latvia and his debut on the National Theatre stage, offering a no less colorful large-scale production with content worth reflecting on.
