Organ Night - Masterpieces of Classical Music. Additional Concert.

Okoncert presents: "Organ Night" - a candlelit organ concert of classical music masterpieces.

On the eve of All Saints' Day, on October 30 and 31, we invite you to a night organ concert of classical music masterpieces.

Updated program!

The program includes an organ music gem - Bach's Toccata in D minor BWV 565; Orff's powerful "O Fortuna" from the scenic cantata "Carmina Burana"; works by Saint-Saëns; Grieg's "In the Hall of the Mountain King"; Bellman's iconic "Gothic Suite"; Schubert's "Erlkönig" in a version for violin and cello, and many other exciting works.

You will enjoy some of the most thrilling and emotional works by outstanding composers, performed by a unique ensemble:

Ilona Birgele (organ)

Jurijs Savkins (violin)

Irina Viļegžaņina (cello)

Virdžīnija Laube-Vītiņa (percussion)

The concert will take place under the arches of the neo-Gothic St. Paul's Church.

We invite you to enjoy grand and timeless masterpieces of classical music in a unique atmosphere of light and sound, where visual and lighting effects will highlight the musicians' virtuosity.

*Please note: the concert will be performed on the historic organ of St. Paul's Church.

All musicians will be on the balcony next to their instruments - in the church's spacious acoustic hall, they need visual contact and proximity to one another to ensure the most harmonious performance.

Do not miss it!
