Gangster Granny

Eleven-year-old Ben cannot stand weekends when he has to stay with Grandma. The old lady has thick glasses, false teeth, and she is mad about all kinds of cabbage dishes. The boy would rather stay home and rummage through Dad's toolbox or read his favorite weekly magazine, "Plumbers' Weekly," but not this time. While visiting Grandma, Ben accidentally comes across hidden jewels. Do they belong to Grandma? And if so, why does she live so modestly? Ben sets out to uncover the mystery, unaware that he will end up in an amazing adventure that will change the way he thinks about Grandma forever.

The production is based on the popular novel "Gangster Granny" by David Walliams, using human-sized puppets. The greatest value of the story is the author's ability to conjure up a wondrous world of grandson and grandmother, where fantasy intertwines with reality, bringing to the fore the friendship between two people and the desire to make their dreams come true.
