Country mini-festival: Dakota, Apvedceļš, and Edvards Strazdiņš

On November 20, proper country will sound in Angārs concert hall - Dakota, Apvedceļš, and Edvards Strazdiņš will take the stage to bring a rural feeling to the city! Three different names, one big country party, and an evening with room for songs, dancing, and a proper good time.

This is the perfect event to put on your country hat, cowboy boots, and let yourself go for the evening - we will dance line dances, spin through folk dances, sing along to well-known songs, and simply have a proper party.

Tickets: First 50 - 15 €, then - 20€, on the day of the event - 25 €

Edvards Strazdiņš is a singer and songwriter who combines country, pop music, and a sense of Latvian life stories in his music. He became more widely known with the songs “Uz Tukumu pēc smukuma”, “Mans vecais Audi” and “Traktors”. His debut album “Lauku dzīves miera osta” received the “Golden Microphone” as the best country or schlager music album. The song "Bez tevis nav nekā" won the Latvian national television poll "Latvijas Sirdsdziesma". He has taken part in the Eurovision song selection competition "Supernova", reaching the final, and has also received a Gold Certificate for 2 million streams of the song “Uz Tukumu pēc smukuma”.

Since 2000, Apvedceļš has carved out a solid path in Latvian country music, delighting listeners with heartfelt and soulful melodies.

Who doesn't know Apvedceļš's biggest hits - "Zemenes", "Margrietiņa" and "Gaujai".

This evening, Apvedceļš will take us straight to the point!

DAKOTA

Dakota, founded in 1996, is the first local band to start the country music tradition in Latvia. Their repertoire includes both touching ballads and cheerful rhythms that make you forget everyday worries and surrender to a feeling of freedom.

This legendary band will pull you into dance rhythms with well-known songs - "Dzeltenie aizkari”, „Kurtizāņu ugunskurs”, „Muzikants”, „Naktstauriņu karnevāls”, „Padsmitnieku laiks” and many others.

A mini-festival is more than just a regular concert - in one evening we will enjoy performances by 3 artists, as well as great food and drinks right here on site! The evening will be rounded off by Z:LE, so you can extend your good mood from the concert even longer.
