Concert Program. Andrejs Osokins, Edgars Ošleja "Songs and Arias of the Soul"

In the concert program “Songs and Arias of the Soul” by Andrejs Osokins and the versatile opera singer Edgars Ošleja, the intimate lyricism of song blends with the drama of opera.

The concert program brings together two seemingly different musical worlds, the refined inner space of art song and the stage expression of opera, united by a common essence: the human voice as a carrier of emotion and story, speaking both in intimate close-up and with dramatic intensity about the soul’s longing, strength, and also loneliness.

The concert includes songs and opera arias by F. Schubert, E. Dārziņš, G. Verdi, W. A. Mozart, C. Gounod, and F. Lehár.
