Concert program “Latvian Voices” with the a cappella group “Latvian Voices”

In Latvian Voices' new program, “Latvian Voices,” specially selected songs from Latvian popular music, arrangements of Latvian folk songs, as well as songs composed by the group members, will be performed in unique a cappella arrangements tailored to the voices of the group members themselves.

The concert will feature Imants Kalniņš’s “Buramdziesmiņa,” Jauns Mēness’s “Piekūns skrien debesīs,” Iļģi’s “Acis veras aizveras,” and many other beloved pieces from the Latvian Voices repertoire.

Latvian mentality is multilayered, and so is this concert program, where audiences will experience a wide range of emotions, from patriotic and sentimental melodies to lively and rhythmic dances.
