Concert “Golden Selection”

Concert “Golden Selection” - an evening of songs that shook the radio.

Three bright voices of schlager music will meet on one stage - Dzintars Čīča, Jānis Krūmiņš (“Apvedceļš”) and Silvestrs Lorencs (“Zelta Kniede”)

The concert's “radio voice,” the legendary musicologist Daiga Mazvērsīte, will enrich the evening with stories and interesting facts about the songs, the performers, and their authors. Three different personalities, three stories, and songs that have echoed for years on the radio, at parties, and at family celebrations all across Latvia.

The concert will feature beloved compositions: Jānis Krūmiņš's heartfelt “Strawberries,” “First Summer Flower,” Dzintars Čīča's emotional “The Violinist” and “Fate Lines,” as well as Silvestrs Lorencs's most popular songs “What Is Your Name,” “Pearls of Memory,” and others. These are songs that audiences always sing along to - melodies that bring generations together and create a true festive feeling.

The concert will be performed together with the accompanying band “Armaestro” under the direction of Anatolijs Livča, creating a lively, powerful, and heartfelt musical experience.
