Concert Performance "Letters to Latvia. Written in Variņi"

On the evening of November 14, when the air already smells of the first frost and chimney smoke, four actors - Ērika Eglija Grāvele, Lelde Dreimane, Gundars Silakaktiņš, and Kristians Karēļins invite everyone to come together for the concert performance "Letters to Latvia. Written in Variņi," where old and very new letters will be opened and turned into songs, poetry, and stories. These will be words that people in Latvia have written and stubbornly sung, both when their hearts were full and, on the contrary, when there was too much silence around them. In these letters there are no loud slogans or flags. There is only life itself - like autumn leaves on the road, heading out into the world, and like a river that simply keeps flowing. The performance's musical dramaturgy will be played at the piano by the brightest piano star of the younger generation, Matīss Žilinskis.
