The end of the year is a time for celebration, lightness, and the magic of music - and that is exactly what the Liepāja Symphony New Year’s Eve Concert offers every year. This traditionally brilliant event ends the year with elegance and sparkling energy.

This year, under the baton of conductor Guntis Kuzma, the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra invites listeners on an adventurous journey to the New World, following the bold discoveries of Spanish seafarers and the colorful moods of southern culture.

A special place in the program is devoted to the temperament of Spanish music - Manuel de Falla’s cycle Seven Popular Spanish Songs will be performed, along with other works inspired by the southern seas and filled with sunny passion and lively energy.

This musical journey will be enriched by brilliant soloists - the dazzling Spanish vocalist Rejesa Karasko, guitarist Kaspars Zemītis, accordionist Toms Rolavs, as well as the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra, creating a magnificent overall sound.

At the Liepāja Symphony New Year’s Eve Concert, passion, elegance, and joy will meet - it will be an unforgettable musical experience that will end the year in shining style and bring inspiration for the beginning of the new year.
