Michaelmas Fair : Jēkabpils Culture Administration

On September 27 from 09: 00 to 15:00 at the Krustpils open-air stage

Let’s celebrate the autumn and harvest season together at the traditional Michaelmas Fair! On Krustpils Island, vendors will gather with a variety of autumn treats, seedlings, handmade crafts, and other delicious and beautiful creations.

The fair atmosphere throughout the day will be enhanced by songs and dances, activities for children, and the chance to meet the animals from the “Strauss” farm. There will also be rides on horses from the Stulpiņi farm and sports activities together with “Impulss Fitness” and the Jēkabpils Sports Center.

Michaelmas traditions and excitement will also be part of the day - the Biggest Pumpkin Contest, where we will determine the mightiest kings of autumn and honor their growers. Valuable prizes await the top three winners. Meanwhile, the boldest and most agile will be able to test their strength by climbing the Umurkumurs pole and winning prizes.
