Meeting of the Support Association for Oncology Patients "Dzīvības koks"

The "Dzīvības koks" support association for oncology patients invites you to the first meeting of its Liepāja branch, with the aim of hearing each participant's views, needs, and ideas in order to jointly shape the branch's future activities. The event is created as a space of support and cooperation for oncology patients and their loved ones, reminding everyone: "You are not alone."

Event program:

• 18.30 – 18.45 | Introduction: Why the Liepāja branch is being relaunched and who it will be for.
• 18.45 – 18.55 | Introduction circle: A brief introduction of the participants and a discussion of expectations.
• 18.55 – 19.15 | "What are we missing right now?": A conversation about what kind of support patients and their loved ones in Liepāja need most at the moment.
• 19.15 – 19.35 | "What would you like to talk about?": Identifying current topics, specialists, and the needed format for meetings.
• 19.35 – 19.50 | "What could our branch be like?": A discussion about the branch's vision and its long-term significance.
• 19.50 – 20.00 | Closing and next steps.

At the end of the evening, participants will be entertained by musician Edijs Šnipke.
