Opening of the Exhibition "Melodiju raksti".

On 15 August, the opening of the exhibition "Melodiju raksti" will take place at Mēri Manor - we invite you to enjoy art, music, and time together.

Admission to the event area from 3:00 PM, where Kaspars Gulbis will delight visitors with an atmospheric concert, and anyone interested will be able to take part in an outdoor workshop and, together with Magone Boleiko (Nature Art School), make wind chimes.

At 4: 00 PM, we will ceremoniously open the exhibition "Melodiju raksti", and from 5:00 PM everyone will be able to view the exposition at a leisurely pace. At 6:00 PM, we will enjoy an evening concert with Kristīne Prauliņa and the band.

Tickets: ej.uz/bi%C4%BCetes_melodiju_raksti or at the box office of the Smiltene Municipality Culture Centre. Admission - 10 euros; for pupils, students, and seniors - 5 euros. Admission is free for children under 7 years of age.

The idea behind the exhibition "Melodiju raksti" is to show how the melodies of Latvian popular music and the emotions they create are transformed into works of art and craft. It will feature works by Latvian artisans, masters of folk applied art, and artists, who interpret Latvian cultural values and beloved melodies in various techniques. The exhibition at Mēri Manor will be on view until 10 October 2026.
