Once, while sitting by the campfire, Grandmother Jaža tells the children a mighty story about Bear Ričus. He lives in a faraway forest, and his table is always full of pots of honey and sweet buns. The quick-witted girl Ringla can no longer wait another moment and, as soon as everyone has gone to bed, sets off at once to find the way to Bear Ričus. But that is exactly when Ringla’s great adventures begin, as she meets many forest animals and birds. Ringla must be clever enough to make it safely to her destination. In the end, everything turns out well, and the visit is so lovely that Ringla will never forget it.
