...PIE LAIKA | freedom songs

Let us celebrate the Latvian holidays that are so meaningful to all of us together by singing Freedom Songs! The concerts will feature beloved songs that were important both during the Awakening, when our nation fought for freedom and its own country, and still today - these are the legendary songs from the rock opera "Lāčplēsis", as well as patriotic songs by composers Jānis Lūsēns, Zigmārs Liepiņš, Imants Kalniņš, Uldis Marhilevičs, Raimonds Pauls, Juris Kulakovs and other authors, as well as Latvian folk songs. On stage - outstanding soloists and the accompanying band under the leadership of Jānis Strazds.
