RAXTU RAXTI Latvia’s Festive Grand Concert 2026

“Raxtu Raxti” invite you to celebrate Latvia’s birthday with a new album and concert program

On the 108th anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of Latvia, on November 18, the musical group “Raxtu Raxti” invites you to two festive grand concerts at Dailes Theatre at 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM. This year’s national holiday concerts will be especially meaningful, as the concert program from the new album “One Sun. One Earth” will have its premiere - a musical story about belonging, strength, and love for one’s homeland.

Ticket sales will begin on July 7. To mark the announcement of the new concert program, the first tickets will be available with a 30% discount from July 7 to 10. The price is shown with the discount applied.

The first part of the concert will feature pieces from the new album, created and arranged by the musicians of “Raxtu Raxti” - Kristīne Kalniņa, Marts Kristiāns Kalniņš, Edgars Kārklis, Artis Orubs, and Armands Treilihs - in collaboration with their long-time creative partners Ilze Grunte and Jānis Bērziņš.

The second part of the concert will bring the audience the traditional sing-along with beloved songs by “Raxtu Raxti”, Imants Kalniņš, and Latvian folk songs. This year as well, the festive atmosphere will be enhanced by dancers from RTU TDA “Vektors”, TDA “Teiksma”, the “Teiksma” studio, and the “Dzirnas” dance school, inviting everyone to celebrate Latvia in song, dance, and togetherness.

“Latvia’s holiday concerts have become a special family tradition for me personally. The greatest joy is seeing families in the concert hall celebrating Latvia together with their children, getting to know our culture, and passing its values on to the next generations. If a tree grows strong roots in its own soil, then one day birds will sing in its branches,” says Kristīne Kalniņa.
