RIGA-VALKA | Bumerangs at 40!

It is not just a train route or a popular song - it is a way of life spanning 40 years. The legendary Valka town band “Bumerangs” invites you to its 40th anniversary gala concert to celebrate four decades on stage together with the audience.

It all began in 1986 in Valka, when three professional musicians and teachers decided to play in a way that would bring joy to themselves and others. The result? Packed halls, a surge of national pride, and songs that today are known in almost every household. “Bumerangs” has always been a mark of quality - with brilliant masculine harmonies, autumnally elegant jokes, and that special Valka charm.

The anniversary program “Riga-Valka” will feature the band’s greatest hits: from the heart-wrenching “Baltās rozes” and the legendary “Vilciens” to “Klaidonis” and “Soliņš.” It will be a story about coming back - to your own people, to true values, and to good music.
