DAWN IN VAKARI

Klāvs Mellis, Matīss Budovskis • Directed by Matīss Budovskis

Investigation in 2 acts

A detective worn down by life reluctantly takes on the most complicated case of his career and is assigned to investigate a murder in a small village - Vakari. Some time ago, a poet burned to death here under mysterious circumstances, during an eclipse. In this existentially absurd detective story, the investigator will try not only to find the killer, but also to answer the question of how it is possible to recover lost joy for life, motivation, and a sense of meaning.
