SANTA ŠILLERE. JAZZ AND CHRISTMAS

At “Veselava Manor” in Veselava Parish, Cēsis Municipality, the festive concert program “Jazz and Christmas” dedicated to the holidays by musician Santa Šillere will be performed. This special fifth-anniversary concert will feature arrangements of works by Raimonds Pauls, Uldis Marhilēvičs, and Imants Kalniņš, as well as the most popular foreign holiday classics and original compositions by the musicians.

The evening promises a musical journey between the familiar and the new - between melodies preserved in our memories and sounds born in the freedom of improvisation. It is a conversation with time that makes you smile, reflect, and pause for a moment, surrendering to the holiday mood. Over five years, the program has become a beloved holiday tradition, inviting listeners every winter to feel the most beautiful time of the year and rediscover Christmas music in a jazz sound.

The anniversary year is also marked by the first “Jazz and Christmas” album, in which the program’s most beautiful melodies have been captured for the first time on vinyl.
