Solo Exhibition “Carousel” by Artist Anda Buškevica

The artist says about herself: "I was born, grew up, and have tied my life to Jelgava. I received my artistic education at the Liepaja Secondary School of Applied Arts and the Art Academy. Since 2011, I have been leading the Jelgava People’s Painting Studio. With this exhibition, I offer a small insight into my creative work. My theme and favorite form of expression in painting is depicting flowers, children, and objects that convey symbolic information. In my creative process, I place the main emphasis on the essence of what is depicted, on creating a mood. Everything I portray is like a play with color, characters, and imagined situations."
