A show for the whole family in Latgali

"Spreideits" is the world's first professional theater show for children in Latvian language. The show is intended for everyone: both native speakers of Latgalian and those who wish to get to know it better. Because Sprīdīš's search for happiness is well known to both adults and children, while the new sounding of Anna Brigadere's fairy tale play clothes them in the warmth and joy of life characteristic of Latgalians!

Small in stature, but full of determination and courage, Sprīdītis goes to the wide world to look for a place where money dries up and happiness resides. Along the way, he faces various trials and thanks to his perseverance, determination and good heart, he is rewarded with miraculous weapons that help him defeat the Evil One himself! The journey full of trials reminds the little brave that everyone is the maker of their own happiness and his happy land is next to people who really care about him.

The performance was awarded the annual Latgalian culture award "Boņuks 2022"
