Meeting Blues. Mārtiņš Brauns at 75

We are continuing the concert performance cycle we have begun with another brilliant figure in the skies of Latvian theater and popular music, remembering Mārtiņš Brauns on his birthday. New generations have grown up who know Brauns only as the author of one song, sung like a solemn mantra at the Great Stage of Mežaparks, but in his theater music Brauns was a true master of many forms, teasing and rebelling, stylizing and playing. That is why both well-known songs and well-forgotten pieces from the productions “Cyrano de Bergerac”, “Alberts”, "Blues" and “Mowgli” will resound in a grand new sound.
