VEF JAZZ CLUB | LATVIAN JAZZ

The concert program “Latvian Jazz” is a musical journey through the history and present day of Latvian jazz. It will feature original works by Artūrs Sebris alongside compositions by Latvian jazz classics Gunārs Rozenbergs, Uldis Stabulnieks, and Vitālijs Dolgovs. These artists have shaped generations that together laid the foundations of Latvian jazz identity - warm, melodic, and emotionally rich.

The program blends the freedom of improvisation with the lyricism of Latvian melody, creating a special mood in which tradition meets a contemporary perspective. “Latvian Jazz” invites listeners to discover jazz as a living and evolving art form that has preserved a Latvian sound and soul through the decades.
