Ventspils Jazz Club

Music that warms up for a November evening!

On November 13, the atmosphere of the Ventspils jazz club will once again reign in the Small Hall of the "Latvija" concert hall - live music, free atmosphere, tables, drinks and the opportunity to spend the evening with friends.

Ance Jankovska and "Terra Quente" together with the group of musicians of Ventspils big band under the leadership of Renārs Lāčas will create a sunny Latin American mood, where the Portuguese language, samba, bossa nova and other melodies inspired by Brazilian music will sound.

The program offers a colorful and energetic sound with original arrangements where tradition meets modern musical handwriting. Listeners will have the opportunity to indulge in both expressive and rhythmic, and more calm and dreamy stories, which intertwine different moods of Brazilian music.

Ance Jankowska and "Terra Quente" have created this program over several years, deeply researching the heritage of Brazilian and Portuguese music and developing their artistic signature. Ances Jankovska's warm and expressive vocals especially highlight the musical sound of the Portuguese language, allowing both the temperament of samba and the most delicate and intimate moods of bossa nova to be expressed. Her voice fits organically into the sound of "Terra Quente", creating a musical bridge between tradition and modern interpretation.

Although the fall of November will be outside the window, this evening in the Small Hall you will have the opportunity to get a little closer to the sun - enjoy warm rhythms, live music, a relaxed atmosphere and good company.

Cafe "Otto" will take care of drinks throughout the evening.
