Exhibition “Bilderlingshof - Bilderiņi - Bulduri”

The exhibition presents both well-known and hitherto unknown events, facts, and images that tell the story of the Bulduri area.

The authors of the exhibition do not claim to provide a comprehensive account of history, as this is only the beginning of further research into Bulduri, with the aim of creating a permanent exhibition in larger premises. Information is still lacking, and there are many uncertainties and mysteries that, like the Bulduri coin hoard on display in the exhibition, have not yet been fully unraveled.

The exhibition was created in cooperation with the Latvian National Museum of History, the Latvian National Museum of Art, the Ģederts Eliass Jelgava Museum of History and Art, the Latvian State Film, Photo and Phonodocument Archive of the National Archives of Latvia, and VAS Latvijas dzelzceļš. Images from the National Library of Latvia and the visual materials collection of the archive of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia were also used. The Jūrmala Museum invites residents of Bulduri, people from Jūrmala, and other interested parties to take part in shaping the new Bulduri exhibition by sharing their memories, information, and objects.
