Winter jazz at Spīķeri Concert Hall, where on one stage we will see guitar virtuoso Matīss Čudars and the jazz ensemble TRIO ELPO, featuring pianist Edgars Cīrulis, double bassist Jānis Rubiks, and drummer Rūdolfs Dankfelds. In the first part of the concert, TRIO ELPO will perform music that is a space for peace - a place to meet, be refreshed, and immerse yourself in. It is an excellent soundtrack for Latvia's winter and our people's introverted nature, our desire for healthy solitude and contemplation. In the second part of the concert, Matīss Čudars will join them on stage. In these new musical explorations, we will hear Matīss's original compositions, improvisations, and, of course, the brightest Christmas melodies in new jazz arrangements.
