We invite you to a free performance “Discri... What?”
Riga City Council invites residents to attend a free performance, “Discri... What?”, on October 19 at the Ziemeļblāzma Culture Palace, created by actor and comedian Jānis Skutelis as part of the Ministry of Welfare campaign “Lower the Threshold.”
The performance will invite audiences to look with humor at our everyday prejudices and at situations in which we do not always notice that words, assumptions, or attitudes can create barriers for other people. Through witty observations and everyday situations, the audience will be invited to reflect on an inclusive and respectful attitude in society.
The event at the Ziemeļblāzma Culture Palace will start at 6:00 p.m. Before the performance, visitors will be able to take part in three sensory stations, where they will have the opportunity to step into the visible and invisible challenges of everyday life faced by their fellow human beings.
The performance is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m.
