AG TRIO and Aija Vītoliņa - Christmas Concert at Nēķene Manor

On December 20 at 3: 00 PM at “NĒĶENA MUIŽA” in Taurene, Cēsis Municipality, the acoustic guitar trio “AG 3’o” and singer Aija Vītoliņa will perform a special Christmas program. Latvia’s outstanding guitarists of different generations - Kaspars Zemītis, Aivars Hermanis, and Mārcis Auziņš - inspired by the joint performances of world-renowned guitar virtuosos Al Di Meola, John McLaughlin and Paco de Lucia, came together in 2011 as an acoustic guitar trio called “AG 3’o”.

Although each trio member performs both in solo projects and regularly takes part in many other musical projects well known to listeners, this Christmas the musicians have found a unique opportunity to come together in a shared joy of making music for themselves and the audience, and their virtuosic guitar playing will be complemented by Aija Vītoliņa’s unique vocal timbre.

The Christmas program will feature in the artists’ interpretation both works by world-famous composers and the guitarists’ own original compositions, as well as special pieces that suit the atmosphere of Christmas Eve!

A bar will be open (from 2: 00 PM to 3:00 PM and also after the concert).

Before the concert, there will be an opportunity to leisurely view Nēķene Manor and its grounds.

The first 100 tickets can be purchased at the special introductory price of 20.00 EUR.

After the first 100 tickets are sold, the ticket price will be 22.00 EUR (tickets will also be available on site on the day of the event, but the number is limited).

We recommend buying tickets in advance.

Free admission for children up to and including 7 years of age, without occupying a separate seat.

Filming and photography will take place during the event. The obtained materials may be used for event publicity purposes.
