With Ballroom Shoes in the Snows of Siberia
Exhibition
16+
The performance is in Latvian and Russian, with subtitles in Russian and Latvian.
NB! Smoking on stage.
The performance is a true story about several generations of one family who experienced one of the most terrible crimes of the totalitarian regime - the deportations of 1941 and 1949 from then Soviet Latvia to Siberia. The stories of those subjected to deportation are so similar - the people involved change, but the time of exile, the place, the lack of rights are the same. In the cold expanses of Siberia, those who carried love for humanity in their hearts and faith in the miracle of return were able to survive.
