Ventspils Jazz Club

On the first Friday of October, the Small Hall of the concert hall Latvia will once again transform into a lively jazz club, where listeners are invited to enjoy music in a more relaxed atmosphere at tables, closer to the artists and to each other. It is a chance to see and hear the concert hall in a different light and celebrate Friday evening in a pleasant atmosphere, in good company, and with great music. This time, it will be provided not only by the Ventspils Big Band under the direction of Renārs Lācis, but also by special guests, the quintet of singer Alise Kante.

The singer has gained experience in various musical ensembles and projects, and has performed as a backing vocalist with some of Latvia’s most outstanding singers (Igo, Laima Vaikule, Linda Leen, etc.), while currently being a member of Intars Busulis and the Abonement Orchestra ensemble. Alise continues to sing in various music projects and styles, but the greatest emotional satisfaction for the singer comes precisely in the genre of jazz music.
