Is this really just a story about good Maija and bad Paija?

Three actors reveal in a witty, musical, and dynamic performance that Anna Brigadere’s play hides much more. Alongside Maija and Paija, an important place is also held by Varis, the only character in the play who truly changes. The performance becomes a story about choices, the power of kindness, the courage to change, and the awareness that every action has consequences. More than a hundred years after the play was written, the question Brigadere posed, whether the world can be saved without kindness and determination, still awaits an answer. Perhaps it begins with each person’s choice to do good.
