Sandra Kļaviņa

At the piano: music by Maksims Busels

One of the brightest actresses of the New Riga Theatre, Sandra Kļaviņa, will for the first time unveil her own solo performance to audiences, created especially for Ola, a subtle, witty and deeply personal piece.

Sandra Kļaviņa is one of those actresses whose craft lies in nuance. With a single glance, a change in intonation, or a brief pause, she can reveal an entire human world. In one moment she is ironic, in the next fragile, then unexpectedly funny or painfully truthful.

In this performance, she invites you to take a close look at the people who seem familiar to us. So familiar that at some point the feeling arises that perhaps this story is also about me.

"Close-up is a beautiful challenge; in it, conversation demands a special focus, honesty and connection. And I want to dare to enjoy it. Nuances, details, things that in everyday life have become self-evident. And to meet someone else in this conversation." — Sandra Kļaviņa

It will be an evening in which humor meets emotion, observations turn into stories, and what seems familiar is revealed anew.

We will not reveal anything more.
