Riga Book Festival 2026

On November 6 and 7, the Riga Book Festival will take place at the National Library of Latvia - Autumn 2026!

Over two days, visitors can look forward to a wide selection of books, meetings with writers, interesting conversations, creative activities, and the chance to buy books at publisher prices.

Latvian book publishers will offer a wide range of literature - the latest novels, detective stories, children's books, educational literature, and much more. A great opportunity to expand your home library or buy gifts in advance!

✍️ Meetings with writers and book presentations

An opportunity to meet book authors, learn more about new releases, take part in conversations, and discover the interesting stories hidden behind the covers.

🔄 Book exchange point

Do you have books at home that you have already read? Bring them along and give them a chance to find new readers! At the book exchange point, you may also discover something new for yourself.

Younger visitors can look forward to creative workshops, book readings, and other activities that will help them explore the exciting world of literature.

The festival program includes conversations about literature, reading habits, and the role of books in modern society, as well as an international conference on the future of reading.
