WARSAW MELODY

drama in two parts

She is a Polish student who dreams of music. He is a young Muscovite intellectual who is convinced that life lies ahead of him. Their meeting seems accidental, yet it becomes fateful. Feelings are born easily, almost unnoticed, and collide with reality, where the personal proves weaker than time, circumstances, and other people's decisions.

This is a play about a love that is impossible to forget, about a choice that stays with a person forever, and about encounters that change life decades later. A subtle, ironic, and moving story about how one feeling can sound in memory like music long after the words have fallen silent.
