Three-Day Physical Activity Cycle for People Aged 16 and Over on October Sundays

The Welfare Department of the Riga city municipality, in cooperation with the “GRIBU BŪT” Association for Quality of Life Improvement and Health Promotion, invites residents to take part in free classes, “Three-Day Physical Activity Cycle for People Aged 16 and Over,” to be active, participate in physical activities, learn new skills, improve physical and psycho-emotional health, and reduce health risk factors.

Each cycle includes 3 days. The duration of each class day is 2.5 hours.

There are 2–3 types of physical activities planned for each day!

DAY 1:

Total body workout – a dynamic cardio/strength workout for the whole body. Faster metabolism, effective calorie burning;

Pilates – controlled, slow, and precise body movements to improve posture and balance.

DAY 2:

Cardio and strength – a full-body workout with dumbbells. Mixed cardio load and strength exercises;

Core, mobility, and stretching – a combined core, balance, mobility, and stretching workout for muscle relaxation, improved flexibility, and body recovery.

DAY 3:

Booty – a workout for strengthening and toning the glute and leg muscles;

CORE – a workout for strengthening the core (abdominal) muscles, activating the deep abdominal muscles;

Fitness yoga – fitness exercises combined with stretching and breathing practices, suitable for anyone who wants to strengthen the body, improve flexibility, and relax the mind at the same time.

Cycle classes will take place on

  • 11/10/2026,
  • 18/10/2026, and
  • 25/10/2026.

Class times: from 09:30 to 12:00.

Venue: “Matīss” studio, Matīsa iela 16, Riga.

Places are limited! Prior registration is MANDATORY!
